Information on returns
Sustainable return for greater environmental protection
As a manufacturer, we fulfill our legal obligation to take back old electrical appliances and ensure that they are disposed of properly and in a resource-efficient manner.
1. Basis
According to EU Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament and the EU Council on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and the revised version of the EU Directive, 2012/19/EU, there is an obligation to collect waste electrical equipment, treat it in accordance with regulations, dispose of it, and finance this process.
According to the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG), every manufacturer is obliged to provide a reasonable option for returning waste equipment from users other than private households.
TBH GmbH takes responsibility for its products and subjects them to a high-quality recycling process after use. For devices that have been used commercially or in public institutions – so-called B2B devices – we have provided convenient return and disposal solutions for you.
TBH GmbH has concluded a recycling agreement with its recycling partner PreZero. After being returned to the TBH site in Straubenhardt, the devices are dismantled according to their components and passed on to the recycling partner. The recycling partner organizes the transport, preparation for reuse, recycling, and recovery of the components. TBH GmbH covers the costs of processing, recycling, and recovery of TBH products. In return, TBH customers bear the costs of transport to the certified TBH site in Straubenhardt.

Important:
Old filters in TBH devices are considered hazardous materials due to the toxic substances they contain. They must be removed from the devices at your own expense prior to transport and disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Used filters must not be shipped!
2. Option for returning and disposing of old devices
Would you like to dispose of an electrical appliance purchased from TBH correctly? Here you have the option of commissioning a shipping company of your choice or a suitable parcel service to send the old electrical appliances to the TBH site in Straubenhardt.
Fill out the contact form on the TBH website with your details. We will then get in touch with you.
3. Deletion of data
We expressly point out that, in accordance with Section 19a of the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG), you must delete any personal data on the devices to be disposed of.
4. Labeling: Meaning of the symbol for labeling electrical appliances
The symbol of a crossed-out wheelie bin on electrical appliances indicates that they must be collected separately and must not be disposed of with household waste.
