FP 150 ATEX

Ideally protected from contaminants

The FP 150 ATEX is equipped with a cleanable, antistatic filter cartridge which allows dust cake to be removed from the filter using bursts of compressed air. An additional H13 filter protects against carcinogenic substances and is also a safety stage in case of leackage through the cartridge filter to prevent the unlikely event of damage. The device is ideal for applications in which large amounts of dry dusts are extracted, and that it has a very long service life in comparison to systems with saturation filters. The system is additionaly suitable for easily flammable or explosive dusts and, according to the ATEX directive, labeled with EX II 2/- Dc IIIC T100°C for the use of extracting from Zone 21. Depending on the application, a special precoating powder can be used to enhance the filter lifetime in processes in which sticky particles need to be extracted.

The system meets the requirements of the ATEX directive (EX II 2/- Dc IIIC T100°C) and is suitable for extraction from a zone 21, although the system must be placed outside of the zone.

Double adsorption power

The adsorption of the gaseous substances takes place with activated carbon (physical adsorption) and BAC granulate (chemical adsorption).

Chipping

Metal machining processes produce many chips. Milling, turning, drilling and grinding, form tiny particles that are often barely recognizable to the eye. Due to the thermal influence of the manufactured components, pollutants penetrate deep into the lungs and can lead to serious diseases.

Welding/Grinding/Cutting

Welding, grinding and cutting release very fine particles from the surface to be processed. When these dangerous substances break down on the lungs, they can trigger permanent incapacity to work. There must be efficient extraction of welding fumes to prevent this from happening.

Transferring materials, packaging processes, transporting/conveying processes

When materials are put from one place to the other, like during packing or transportation, some particles might be released. Especially,  because they cannot be seen by the human eye, its danger doesn't have to be underestimated. Particles can arise from whirling up. TBH filter and extraction systems can remove these particles safely from the ambient air.  

Mechanical processing

There are also chemicals used, for example, when dyeing clothes which are mostly harmful to health and therefore have to be extracted.
