Effective extraction of harmful particles to protect the cultural heritage

In order to preserve the cultural heritage, the utmost care and caution is required, because the material becomes fragile over time. During cleaning, small particles may dissolve and become airborne.  The TBH filter and extraction system removes these pollutants from the air to prevent them from being inhaled and penetrating the lungs. Solid construction and high extraction power make the systems ideal for high levels of dust. Solvent vapors, dusts and mold on paintings, porcelain or other objects can be safely extracted with our systems, without damaging the art object.

Precise extraction to protect your artifacts

Certainly, only the separated particles from the air can be detected during extraction. Artifacts are very sensitive due to their age and therefore require special care. With TBH filter and extraction systems you protect your cultural treasures and your health.

The hood ensures protection and allows a clear view, so precise work on art objects is possible without inhaling exposed particles.

GL 200-Series

Due to the use of special energy-saving and noise-reduced blowers, the series is particularly environmentally friendly.

GL Desk-Series

The series was especially developed as a substructure for compact lasers with a max base area of 700 x 700 mm.

Extracts harmful particles safely

Old documents can be very sensitive. Precise work is essential to keep it complete. Due to its porosity, special care is needed because tiny particles can arise while cleaning.

When restoring old furniture, some used detergents can be toxic and dangerous to the health when inhaled. When dealing with chemicals, precaution is necessary.

Freeing sculptures from mold and mildew in a safe way. Particles that can be released due to the porosity of the sculptures or figures that should be cleaned. During this process, an extraction has to take place that saves the working person and the object.

Electronically commutated engines for full performance and less energy consumption.

  • Wide range input 100 – 240 V
  • Brushless motor Rotor made of permanent magnet
  • Stator of several windings
  • Bridge circuit of MOSFET transistors commutating electromagnets

Feature Attachments

Various attachments for a safe extraction

Small work cabinet

The slightly pyramid-shaped hood has a surface of tempered protective glass. This allows the employee to constantly look at the working material. The work cabinet is used on objects that need special care. The sides of the small version have a height of 200 mm.

Medium work cabinet

The work cabinet is very applicable for working processes such as mixing chemicals, small grinding jobs as well as measuring and analyzing operations. It can be placed on a table or a flat surface. The thermoformed top is made of transparent PETG with tempered glass.  The sides of the medium version is 500 mm high.

Square extraction hood

The square extraction hood  enables a wider coverage of pollution. The transparent design - polycarbonate - allows a free view for the restorer to the working surface.

Round extraction hood

The round extraction hood enables a wider coverage of pollution. The transparent design - polycarbonate - allows a free view for the restorer to the working surface.

Expand your system

Extraction arm

The extracted air is pulled through the extraction arm and led into the system for getting cleaned by the filters. The extraction arm allows the customer to set up a tip extraction that fits to the application and guarantees a perfect collection of particles.

Electrical Foot Switch

The electrical foot switch allows to control the start/stop function of the system easily.

Cable Remote Control Unit

The remote allows controlling the system from a distance. You do not have to leave your workplace to switch your filter and extraction system on or off or to monitor the filter status.

Hose set

The hose set includes a suitable hose for your filter and extraction system, and depending on the system and substance to be extracted, eg. wire hose clamps, nipples or connecting sleeves for correct compression.

System Safe is primarily used due to its easy mounting and type-approval for leak tightness class A, B, C, D in accordance with DIN EN 12237 SITAC no. 1358/88. The system is based on factory-assembled double-lip seals made of age-resistant EPDM rubber. The robust seal, on which temperature fluctuations have mininmal impact, creates an airtight connection.

Protection of cultural heritage
Retaining the patina

The patina is the charm of cultural heritage. Whether image, sculpture or document, the natural aging process gives the character something special that makes the object so valuable. The TBH filter and extraction systems help you to remove only the dirt particles, so that the memory is retained for a long time.

Improving the appearance

Preserving depends on correct and continuous care. This is necessary for the long preservation of each object of cultural heritage. When working on improving the appearance of any item, accuracy is very  important to obtain its value, otherwise the work of art may be damaged.
